How we work with Invisalign and you

Heading off on your Invisalign journey should certainly be exciting when you know that you could have your new smile in as little as 4 to 6 months. During that time, you will need to wear your aligners, which are removable and barely visible when they are being worn. You can remove your aligners for up to 2 hours a day, so you won’t have to alter your diet to avoid foods that could damage them, and you will be able to brush your teeth without anything impeding your efforts (remember to floss!).

Each week, you will need to wear a new aligner as each one applies a different amount of pressure to push your teeth into place. You will be sent aligners in the post to your home, free of charge, so you won’t need to spend time and money coming in to see us at the clinic. What’s more, we will also monitor your progress each week using our bespoke remote monitoring app. If we need to see you in person at any point, we will contact you to arrange an appointment; this means that you will only have to come in when it is absolutely necessary, once again saving you time and money on superfluous checkups.
