At the appointment we will carry out an assessment of your\nteeth to ensure that Invisalign is suitable for you. You will be offered a\nspecialised three-dimensional scan using the latest iTero technology to create\na digital image of your mouth using our ClinCheck software. The software enables us to see how your smile will change with each\naligner and this will be used to put together an individually tailored\ntreatment plan for you. There are two different treatment options depending on\nyour dental requirements. Invisalign Comprehensive is for those with extensive\northodontic issues, whilst Invisalign Lite is available for those with mild or\nmoderate misalignment issues of the teeth. We will send you the scan results\nand the treatment plan, and if you are happy to progress then you can make your\npayment and we will order your aligners for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Invisalign aligners are clear thermoplastic trays which are\nindividually manufactured according to the digital scan results of your teeth.\nThis means that they are highly accurate and therefore very comfortable to wear\nand provide predictable results as discussed at the beginning of the treatment.\nThe number of aligners that you need will be dependent on the extent of\nmisalignment that you begin with. Each aligner is designed to be worn for two\nweeks and for approximately 22 hours of the day. They are comfortable to wear\nand you will have invisible attachments placed on the surface of your teeth, so\nthat they sit securely to help provide added comfort and confidence. Each\naligner is designed to move your teeth by approximately 2.5 mm until you have\nachieved the desired result.
